Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business information, client and service data, and payment information when you subscribe.

Marketing site (anonymous visitors). When you browse public TankHub pages (for example our homepage, product pages, or pricing) while not logged in, we may log page views with your IP address, approximate location (country/region/city level, where available from our hosting provider), browser type, referrer, and a random session identifier stored in your browser for that tab. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve our marketing and product. These logs are kept for a limited time (typically about 60 days) and are then deleted automatically. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or similar regions, consult your local law or a qualified advisor about whether this processing requires consent or another legal basis in your case.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send you technical notices and support messages, and respond to your comments and questions. We use your data to power scheduling, invoicing, client management, and route planning within your account.

Third-Party Services

TankHub uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy; we recommend reviewing them.

  • Supabase – Authentication, database, and file storage. Data is stored in secure, tenant-scoped databases. See Supabase Privacy.
  • Stripe – Payment processing for subscriptions and billing when you pay through our website or the Android app (checkout opens in a secure browser flow). We do not store your full card number. See Stripe Privacy.
  • Apple App Store – If you subscribe using the TankHub iOS app, Apple processes the payment. Apple’s privacy terms apply to that purchase flow. We receive subscription status from Apple (via our integration below) to unlock your account.
  • RevenueCat – Subscription status and entitlements for iOS in-app purchases (so our servers can match your plan to your account). See RevenueCat Privacy.
  • Google Maps – Maps and location features (e.g. client locations, routes). Use is subject to Google Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry – Error and performance monitoring so we can fix issues. See Sentry Privacy.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to your data is restricted by account and role, and we use industry-standard practices for authentication and storage.

Account and data deletion (TankHub)

You can request permanent deletion of your TankHub account and all associated data at any time.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to support@tankhub.net from the email address linked to your TankHub account.
  2. Use the subject line Account deletion request (or similar) so we can process it quickly.
  3. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days). We will email you when the deletion is done.

What we delete

When we delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your authentication record (login identity)
  • Your company/tenant and all data tied to it: clients, service logs, schedules, invoices, zones, contact logs, tech notes, notifications, and settings
  • Any membership linking you to other companies (if you leave a shared company, only your membership is removed; the company and its data remain for other members)

What we keep

We do not retain your personal or app data after deletion. Backups may hold deleted data for a short retention period (e.g. up to 30 days) before being purged; we do not use backup data for any purpose other than disaster recovery.

Icons and artwork (attributions)

Certain interface icons in the TankHub website and apps are used under license from Flaticon (free for commercial use with attribution). We maintain a Flaticon license certificate on file (licensee Joshua Powers; download March 10, 2026).

Per Flaticon’s attribution requirements, credit to the authors is as follows:

These assets appear in product UI (for example expand/collapse and close controls). The aquarium volume calculator tile uses custom vector artwork with Lucide-style strokes. Additional icons ship via the open-source Lucide library under the ISC License as a standard software dependency.
